Welcome to Whitwick Parish Church. We are a friendly bunch and we'd be delighted to welcome you whenever or how often you can join us.
Our Priorities: To Worship God, to grow in faith, to serve the people of our parish & community, to share Christ's love and truth through our living witness.
Sunday Services are usually at 10.30am and 6.00pm (4.00pm in winter) alternating Holy Communion with more informal worship. On fifth Sundays we join together for worship at 10.30am at one of the three churches.
The Church is open from July - October on Wednesday mornings between 10.00am and 12.00pm
The Morning Service is our main service which is open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The singing is led by a very able musical director and a small music group. Refreshments are usually served after this service. This is also an opportunity for the ministry of prayer and general socialising.
Evening Services are more intimate and reflective in style and content.
We use common worship with liturgy, songs and bible readings projected digitally on screens. The music is a mixture of modern and traditional hymns. Readings and prayers are led by members of the congregation.
The first Sunday All-age-service is family oriented with activities including drama and action songs. Tea, coffee and squash are served at 10.30am. Young people actively contribute to these services.
Parking on Sunday Mornings Parking is limited near the Church. We have been asked not to park at The Black Horse on Sunday Mornings. Please consider car sharing and dropping passengers off and then parking elsewhere. Parking is available at the car park in Vicarage Street (opposite Whitwick Fryer), at Whitwick Park, Mason's Pharmacy and the Doctors' Surgery - all in North Street, and there are a few spaces at the Vicarage (please park courteously and don't block the drive fir the bungalow next door). Thank you.
